Our team reviews every submission before it goes live. Once approved, your request is marked as Active, and you will receive an email confirmation.
Approved detectorists in your selected area receive both an email notification and a dashboard update. They can review the details before deciding whether to accept the task.
When a detectorist selects Accept Task, they are granted access to the full lost item location details. You will receive an email confirming which detectorist has accepted your request and will be kept informed throughout the recovery process.
If your item is successfully located, the detectorist can upload a photo as proof of recovery directly through the platform.
You will also receive an email advising that the item has been recovered. Once you log into your account you can select the lost item and then view the Proof of Recovery Photo and the Detetorists Name and Contact Details, so that you can arrange a successful recover of your item.
